After a wonderful ceremony in Elstow Abbey the incredibly lovely Sarah and Pete held their reception at South Farm. This is a little peek at part of their long edit film. It’s a gorgeous rural venue and without giving too much away we would just like to say that we had great fun filming this…! And don’t Sarah and her girls look BEAUTIFUL!!!!
We love London weddings and can’t wait to share this one with you. Bronwyn and James were married on the hottest day of the year in the iconic Marylebone Town Hall. After lots of fun wandering the nearby mews and Regents Park we arrived to The Coach Makers of Marylebone for an evening of merriment and dancing. And some of the best music ever! We need to give a special mention to the utterly fantastic Brad Clarke, a really cool and brilliant photographer and just the best ever to work with. We love this couple and hope you enjoy this one…
In October we spent a magical day in Ireland at the wedding of Andrea and James. This was a very special day for us too since it was a return home to our own wedding venue, Castle Leslie in Co. Monaghan. Here is just a tiny snippet of an amazing wedding in a beautiful setting, and look out for a guest appearance by Sir John Leslie (or Uncle Jack as he is known in the village)…
Don’t forget, we also make a long edit film of 10-15 minutes for when you want just that little bit more…
Adeline & Andy – long edit
On the morning of Saturday 28 April we set off for the Stone Barn in Aldsworth, to film the wedding of our competition winners Adeline and Andy. We knew this would be a special wedding but we didn’t know it would be this special! It was amazing! Lots of fun, with beautiful vintage and rustic details set in gorgeous rolling Cotswold countryside (a bit drizzly maybe but still gorgeous). They are a fantastic couple and Adeline was an incredibly beautiful bride. To be honest, we feel like we were the prize winners and very lucky to have been a small part of their day. We could ramble on and on about how beautiful it all was but maybe just have a little look instead…
Andy is a professional photographer and Adeline a director of a childcare agency, wedding blogger and planner, and all round super creative and organised person (with an appreciation of great cakes!). Soon they will be moving from Edinburgh to London and we wish them the best of luck and huge congratulations, Mr & Mrs!
And all the following contributed to a beautiful day. Thank you everyone…
Lodging: Wheatsheaf Inn, Northleach
Adeline’s dress: Jenny Packham
Venue: Stone Barn, Aldsworth
Make up: Sophie Charmings
Victoria sponge wedding cake: Cirencester Cupcakes
Flowers: Beth Cox firstname.lastname@example.org
Musician: Alex Taylor
Huge congratulations to Adeline and Andy, the winners of our competition for a free wedding film!
And huge thanks to the lovely Charlie from The Natural Wedding Company for featuring the competition on her blog and linking us to this very special couple.
And not forgetting all of you who entered the competition, thank you, thank you.
There were so many lovely entries, but as soon as we saw the warm cuddly humour in Adeline and Andy’s engagement photo shoot we knew we had found our winners. Have a look and you will see exactly what we mean.
These photos were taken by the lovely and extremely talented Ann-Kathrin Koch who also took the wedding photos. We were very lucky to be working with such an amazing photographer.
The wedding took place on Saturday 28 April in a beautiful stone barn in the Cotswolds and what an incredible wedding it was! Watch out for our next post to see the short edit film…
Rob & Lauren
Lauren and Rob arrived straight off the plane from New York (amazingly bright eyed) to meet us for a wonderful day of shopping and filming in Burlington Arcade, just a week before their wedding in Liverpool on 17 March. Rob also had a final fitting for his very dapper Saville Row suit and we think you will agree he looks great in it. Lauren is a beautiful fellow film maker from New York and Rob is from Lancashire now working in the NYSE. They met in a bar in New York while watching a Liverpool Football Club match and as you can imagine this song is pretty special to them…
We were very lucky to find a statue of Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt on Old Bond Street, and you will also be able to spot one of the Big Eggs (they are actually hard to miss). Special thanks to Ellen and Mark of Burlington Arcade for allowing us to shoot there, and all the lovely staff in Penhaligons for their help.
And a very, very special thanks to Lauren and Rob for their patience and energy and for just being so happy and in love…
