Adeline & Andy

On the morning of Saturday 28 April we set off for the Stone Barn in Aldsworth, to film the wedding of our competition winners Adeline and Andy.  We knew this would be a special wedding but we didn’t know it would be this special!  It was amazing!  Lots of fun, with beautiful vintage and rustic details set in gorgeous rolling Cotswold countryside (a bit drizzly maybe but still gorgeous).  They are a fantastic couple and Adeline was an incredibly beautiful bride.  We feel like we were the prize winners and very lucky to have been a small part of their day.

And all the following contributed to the beautiful images.  Thank you everyone…

Lodging :  Wheatsheaf Inn, Northleach

Adeline’s dress: Jenny Packham

Venue: Stone Barn, Aldsworth

Make up: Sophie Charmings

Victoria sponge wedding cake: Cirencester Cupcakes

Flowers: Beth Cox  digitgardendesign@btinternet.com

And the winner is…

Huge congratulations to Adeline and Andy, the winners of our competition for a free wedding film!

And huge thanks to the lovely Charlie from The Natural Wedding Company for featuring the competition on her blog and linking us to this very special couple.

And not forgetting all of you who entered the competition, thank you, thank you.

There were so many lovely entries, but as soon as we saw the warm cuddly humour in Adeline and Andy’s engagement photo shoot we knew we had found our winners.  Have a look  and you will see exactly what we mean.

These photos were taken by the lovely and extremely talented Ann-Kathrin Koch  who also took the wedding photos.  We were very lucky to be working with such an amazing photographer.

The wedding took place on Saturday 28 April in a beautiful stone barn in the Cotswolds and what an incredible wedding it was!  Watch out for our next post to see the short edit film…

Rob & Lauren

Rob & Lauren

Rob and Lauren arrived straight off the plane from New York (amazingly bright eyed) to meet us for a wonderful day of shopping and filming in Burlington Arcade, just a week before their wedding in Liverpool on 17 March.  Rob also had a final fitting for his very dapper Saville Row suit and we think you will agree he looks great in it.  Lauren is a  beautiful fellow film maker from New York and Rob is from Lancashire now working in the NYSE.  They met in a bar in New York while watching a Liverpool Football Club match and as you can imagine this song is pretty special to them…

We were very lucky to find a statue of Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt on Old Bond Street, and you will also be able to spot one of the Big Eggs (they are actually hard to miss).  Special thanks to Ellen and Mark of Burlington Arcade for allowing us to shoot there, and all the lovely staff in Penhaligons for their help.

And a very, very special thanks to Rob and Lauren for their patience and energy and for just being so happy and in love…
